The Scenic Hotel and Worlds Apart Wines present the Official Winter Reds Closing Party, and the theme is Après Ski. It’s giving unapologetic, retinal-burning 80s neon ski suits, tacky, structurally compromised jumpers. It’s giving roaring open fires and enough mulled wine to make you forget the slow cooker meal you had planned for dinner. If you’re currently suffering from a severe deficit of joy, this is your clinical intervention. For a modest $25 per person, you will receive entry into an alpine fever dream, which includes a comprehensive Worlds Apart Wine tasting. There will also be a custom Ski Snack Specials because drinking Riesling on an empty stomach in the Adelaide Hills is a sport reserved only for the deeply unhinged. To guide you into the sub-zero sunset, the absolute finest Skin Contact DJs will be providing the soundtrack. Will there be synthesisers? Likely.
