Spring has sprung, and there has never been a better time to finally book that family trip to Kangaroo Island. For a limited time, when you book at least one adult fare and a vehicle, up to 3 kids go free!* Plus, RAA members save an additional 10% on passenger fares#. Just a 45 minute ferry ride from Cape Jervis, Kangaroo Island is a premier food, wine and spirits destination with pristine coastline, amazing wildlife and adventures aplenty for those who seek it. Whether you're looking for an adrenaline rush,  or the ultimate relaxing getaway, the island has something for everyone. 

SeaLink have been servicing the island for over 30 years and has become synonmous with a Kangaroo Island getaway. If you're lucky, you might spot some dolphins, sea eagles or even whales on your crossing - all just part of the experience of a KI holiday. 

Services operate an average of four times per day and up to 12 services per day during peak periods.  Whilst passengers can bring their own vehicle (at an extra cost), as well as caravans and trailers, SeaLink also offer a coach between Adelaide and Cape Jervis and a shuttle service on the island. They also offer a range of self-drive packages and coach tours on the island. RAA members also receive a discount on these packages - speak to a travel expert to find out more.


SeaLink run two ferries between the island. Both feature licensed cafes, airline and café style seating and lounges, TV/video monitors, free wifi and a dolphin-viewing deck.

They are also equipped with disabled passenger toilets and baby change table and have an electric wheelchair available.

  • Bicycles
  • Surfboards, Kayaks, wind surfing equipment etc.
