RAA & Caltex Scan to Win Promotion — Conditions of Entry

Promotional Period: Starts 1 July 2026 at 12:01am ACST and ends 30 September 2026 at 11:59pm ACST.

Eligible Entrants: Open to South Australian residents who are RAA members aged 18 years or over.

How to Enter

To enter, during the Promotional Period entrants must:

a) Make an eligible purchase of $8 or more in the in-store shop, after the 10% RAA discount is applied, at participating Caltex StarMart locations in South Australia (excludes petrol, tobacco, phone recharge or gift cards); and

b) Have their RAA Membership Card scanned at the point of purchase.

Entrants must retain their original receipt as proof of purchase.

Entries Permitted

Multiple entries are permitted, subject to:

a) A maximum of one entry per qualifying transaction; and

b) A limit of two entries per person per day.

Winner Determination

Monthly (Weekly) Prize Draws: Five weekly winners will be drawn from weekly entry data across three monthly draws, held at RAA City, 150 Grenfell Street, Adelaide 5000 at 11:00am ACST on 29 July 2026, 26 August 2026 and 1 October 2026, using computerised random selection. The first five valid entries drawn win the specified weekly prize.

Major Draw: Held at RAA City, 150 Grenfell Street, Adelaide 5000 at 11:00am ACST on 7 October 2026, using computerised random selection. The first five valid entries drawn win the Major prizes specified below.

The draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn. Winners are determined by chance. Quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.

Prize Conditions

Caltex Promotional Digital Gift Card: Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Card are not included. The Card must be activated within 2 months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. Any unused balance at expiry will be forfeited, and recipients will not receive notice prior to expiry. Card expiry and balance can be checked via the Vault Payments App. The Card is issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited (ABN 30 131 436 532, AFSL 404131) and distributed by Vault Payment Solutions Group Pty Ltd (ABN 66 632 373 105). Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted by phone and email within 2 days of each draw. Winners' last names, initials and postcodes will be published within 30 days of the draw at raa.com.au/membership/competitions/competition-winners.

For the monthly draws, the schedule is as follows:

  • 29/07/26 draw — winners contacted by 31/07/26, published by 04/08/26
  • 26/08/26 draw — winners contacted by 28/08/26, published by 01/09/26
  • 01/10/26 draw — winners contacted by 05/10/26, published by 07/10/26

Unclaimed Prizes

If any prizes remain unclaimed by 7 December 2026, an additional draw will be held at RAA City, 150 Grenfell Street, Adelaide 5000 at 11:00am ACST on 8 December 2026 to distribute them. Unclaimed prize winners will be contacted by phone and email within 2 days, and their last name, initial and postcode published within 30 days of the draw at the URL above.

General Conditions

  1. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. The Promotion runs for the Promotional Period stated above. Entries are deemed received when received by the Promoter, not when sent. The Promoter's records are final and conclusive.
  3. Only valid and eligible entries received during the Promotional Period will be accepted.
  4. Employees (and immediate family members) of participating Caltex stores, associated agencies, the Promoter, and any businesses involved in managing or judging the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
  5. Entrants must retain their Proof of Purchase and produce it on request. Failure to do so may result in invalidation of the entry or forfeiture of the prize. Receipts must clearly show the eligible store, the qualifying purchase, and that it was made during the Promotional Period.
  6. No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash, or transferable, unless the Promoter agrees in writing.
  7. No entry fee applies.
  8. Prizes are awarded to the person named on the entry; entries made on someone's behalf or by a third party are invalid. Disputes over entrant or winner identity are resolved at the Promoter's discretion.
  9. The Promoter may collect and use personal information to conduct and manage the Promotion, and may disclose it to related companies, agents and contractors (including overseas, e.g. USA, Singapore, Philippines) for this purpose.   10. Only the winner's surname, initial and postcode will be published in connection with the Promotion.
  11. Prizes supplied by third parties are subject to that supplier's terms, which prevail over these Conditions in the event of inconsistency. The Promoter isn't liable for delays or failures by third parties in delivering or honouring a prize.
  12. If the Promotion can't run as planned due to technical failure, fraud, unauthorised intervention or other causes beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or any prize, subject to relevant regulation.
  13. The Promoter may validate entrant details (identity, age, residence) at any time. Winners unable to provide suitable proof forfeit the prize with no substitute offered. Invalid, incomplete or non-compliant entries may be disqualified at the Promoter's discretion. Automated or repeated-entry software is prohibited and may invalidate all entries from that individual.
  14. Non-compliant entries may be disqualified. Disputes will first be resolved directly with the entrant; if unresolved, the Promoter's decision is final.
  15. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter isn't liable for loss, damage, injury or death connected with the Promotion or use of a prize, except where caused by the Promoter or where liability can't be excluded by law.
  16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for tax implications; entrants should seek independent financial advice.
  17. Failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.
