General Returns Policy

We understand you may need to return products to us if they’re defective or damaged, and we know sometimes you may just change your mind.

We’ll refund or exchange goods as outlined below, provided the items are returned in good condition, in original boxes and all paperwork, parts, accessories, and original proof of purchase are included.

Once approved, please allow approximately six working days for your personal refund cheque to arrive. Depending on Australia Post Registered Post delivery times, waiting times may be longer.

Damaged On Arrival

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us within seven days of delivery and have your membership number, order number, email address and phone number handy. We’ll make every reasonable effort to assist you with your return. RAA does not accept any liability for returned items until they have been received by us.

Change Your Mind Returns

If you are not satisfied with an item you have purchased from the RAA Shop, you may choose to return it to us. Please note, items will need to be returned in original condition. You must return it within 14 days of delivery in order to receive a full refund (excluding delivery charges).

Warranty Claims

Be sure to keep your RAA receipt as proof of purchase, as you may be required to show it. Please contact the manufacturer of your product for all warranty claims and follow their instructions on how to proceed. Standard delivery charges are categorised by the size of your parcel and destination, you’ll be provided with a postage charge in the checkout stage of your purchase. The charges are as per below

International: we’ll contact you to confirm the postage price and seek approval of the charge before processing your order.

Mobility scooter: we’ll contact you for delivery charges outside the Adelaide metro area.

Free postage promotions apply to RAA members within SA only.

Good purchased from RAA’s online shop are distributed within Australia by the Toll Group. We understand you want your items to arrive quickly, so we’ll endeavour to get them to you as soon as possible. Please allow up to two working days for items to be dispatched, and an additional two working days for Toll to deliver your order. You will be provided with a trackable consignment number for all purchases.

Please note, we’re unable to post Shop items to PO boxes or RSDs.

During peak times such as Christmas and Boxing Day sales, dispatch times may vary. We’ll do all we can to ensure your items arrive on time during peak periods; however, please not we can’t make guarantees on exact arrival dates.

Click and Collect Parcel Pickup Service

Click and Collect is available on a selected range of items and available from pickup from the following RAA shops – Adelaide, Broken Hill, Colonnades Elizabeth, Marion, Mile End, Modbury, Mt Barker, Mt Gambier West Lakes and Whyalla. The service is free of charge and generally be available for collection the following day/ Click and Collect will show as an option at checkout if available for your chosen item(s).

Shopping online should be as enjoyable and worry free as shopping in store, and we want you to feel confident about making a purchase with us online.

We offer both secure payment with Visa or Mastercard, or we can process payment over the phone.

RAA also uses AlertSite, a remote security scan, to ensure websites, servers, routers, firewalls and internet-connected devices are free of known vulnerabilities and pass the SANS Top 20 Internet Security Vulnerabilities, as defined by SANS, the FBI and FedCIRC. A site that’s passed the AlertSite Security Vulnerability Scan has also met the scanning standards of Visa and Mastercard.
